The incident occurred around 2:15 p.m. March 29 near the inter­ section of Trafalgar Road and Marlborough Court. According to Sheridan Securi­ ty, a female student was ap­ proached from behind by a man "who uttered a comment, sexual in nature, while trying to grab a bag she was carrying." He is described as a white man, aged 20-25, five-foot-four with a heavy build and wearing a red winter hat and grey coat. The student filed a report with Halton regional police and Sheri­ dan security. The incident prompted Kath­ ryn Cameron, director of campus safety, security and emergency management at Sheridan, to warn the college community to report "malicious behaviour or harm" by calling 911 from a safe location.
