Special Olympics fundraising concert to be held in Oakville April 15 OAKVILLE - Area resi­ dents interested in enjoying some music while support­ ing a great cause are invited to attend the We've Got Rhythm fundraising con­ cert, which will take place at Glen Abbey United Church on Sunday, April 15. The event begins at 1:30 p.m., and will feature a con­ cert by a local group called the Notables, who will play hits from the 50s, 60s and be­ yond. Tickets are $15 and all funds raised will go toward the Special Olympics. The event will also sup­ port five local girls from the Butterflies Rhythmic Gym­ nastics Club who have qual­ ified to participate in the Special Olympics in Anti­ gonish, N.S., in July. The Butterflies will put on a mini-demonstration of their skills during the event. Tickets can be reserved by calling 905-825-5292 or emailing info@glenabbeyu- nitedchurch.com.
