Residents are encouraged to take advantage of Halton's Basement Flooding Mitigation Subsidy Program that makes it easier and more affordable to make modifications that can reduce the risk of flooding. If you are planning on disconnecting your downspouts or weeping tiles, installing a sump pump, repairing your sewer lateral (pipe) or installing a backwater valve, you may be eligible for our subsidy program.
