SLAYER, Karen (nee Hoey) Passed away with her family by her side at Oakville Hospital on Saturday, April 14 in her 65th year. Predeceased by her parents, Wilson and Doreen (McKay), sister Diane (Cunningham), her precious granddaughter Zoe and sister-in-law Jacky. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, husband Ralph, children Adam (Ally Yang), Linda (Mike Kirch) and her beautiful grandchildren Milo and Grayson. She w ill also be greatly missed by her sister Louise and husband Gary Loader, her brother Brent and wife Teri, brothers-in-law Gary and Wayne Slayer as well as numerous relatives and friends. Karen worked as a Lab Manager at Pinchin Environmental and after many happy years retired. She enjoyed spending tim e w ith family and friends and traveling the w orld. We were tru ly blessed to have her in our lives and will miss her wonderful smile and infectious laughter. As per her wishes her body has been donated to the Division of Anatomy at the University of Toronto fo r others to learn. The foundation and the annual family reunion weekend were very special to her.
