Maple syrup flowing at park During March Break, visitors to Bronte Creek Provincial Park are invited to take a walk through time along the syrup trail, to witness the process of syrup production spanning more than 300 years. The Pancake Fiesta Tent staffed by the Rotary Club o f Burlington- Lakeshore are serving up hot buttery pancakes w ith pure m aple syrup. Costum ed interpretive staff will regale visitors with tales of life in 1899 at the park's living history museum. The winter kitchen has been transform ed into a charm ing gift shop, where maple syrup products are on sale. Maple sugar candies, still hot from the wood-burning stove, are available at the fully functional Candy Shanty. Activities take place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Please note that the pancake Fiesta Tent closes at 3 p.m. Admission fees to the park are $3 per adults; $1.75 per youth (4 to 17); to a maximum of $10 per vehicle. Education programs are available during the week from 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Reservations are required for all groups. For more information, call the park at 905-827-6911.
