In 1988, the chamber moved from its original location at Lakeshore and Allen Street to its cur­ rent location on Country Squire Lane (which also houses the Tourist Information Centre). There are 12 full standing committees working to increase the Chamber's already strong member­ ship of 1,200. Members get many benefits in their partnership with the chamber, including publicity in the Chamber's directories and newsletters and through networking and referrals.
