May 1st. Former Brookdale staff and students are invited to attend the celebration. An official ceremony with local offi cials will kick off the afternoon, along with a hot dog lunch and tea room. A Silent Auction is planned to raise money for Brookdale's information tech nology program. CORE Digital Pictures has donated several items autographed by William Shatner. Several commemorative projects will be completed for the 40th Anniversary celebration, including a new entrance way to the school, and murals painted by local artists and Brookdale students. A Civic Scene watercolour of the school by Michael Hitchcox will be unveiled, and signed photographic reproductions will be avail able.
