May 1st. Former Brookdale staff and students are invited to attend the celebration. An official ceremony with local offi­ cials will kick off the afternoon, along with a hot dog lunch and tea room. A Silent Auction is planned to raise money for Brookdale's information tech­ nology program. CORE Digital Pictures has donated several items autographed by William Shatner. Several commemorative projects will be completed for the 40th Anniversary celebration, including a new entrance­ way to the school, and murals painted by local artists and Brookdale students. A Civic Scene watercolour of the school by Michael Hitchcox will be unveiled, and signed photographic reproductions will be avail­ able.
