Register on-line.Winter session begins Jan. 6 haltonhillsgymnastics.com The grind of four games in five days seemed to take its toll on the Georgetown Raiders on Sunday after- noon (Nov. 26) in their 5-2 loss to the host St. Mi- chael's Buzzers in Ontario Junior Hockey League play. Taking a 2-1 lead into the first intermission on goals by Andrew Cords- sen-David and Jason Smith, that was all the Raiders could generate as they were outshot 31-27 by the Buzzers. At home on Saturday night (Nov. 25), the Raiders were just 29 seconds away from being shut out for the second straight game on Alcott Arena ice before fifth-year forward Andrew Court tied the score at one with the North York Rang- ers and sent the contest in- to overtime. Leading-scorer Smith finished off a brilliant solo effort to give Georgetown its second win in as many nights. Smith struck for a natu- ral hat trick on Friday (Nov. 24) against last-place Milton in a 10-0 decimation of the IceHawks, with Court (2), Jacob Payette (2), Derek McVey, Steve Mariani and Austin Cho also finding the net. Coming up this week- end, the 20-6-1Raiders visit the Markham Royals on Friday, followed by a home date with the Oakville Blades on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and a trip to Buffalo on Sunday afternoon to take on the Jr. Sabres.
