Reid, 79, of Oakville, Ontario passed away Friday August 30th, 2013 in the Parry Sound Hospital surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with illness. George was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. George loved adventure and this was no better reflected than in his passion for riding motorcycles, skiing, hiking, diving into a good book, bike riding, boating, spending time on lakes and just about anything else that sounded fun. Sharing his passion for adventure with his wife, children, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews are what brought him some of the greatest joys in his life.
