The atom Tide, with several players in their first year of organized football, lost its first two games of the season, including a 43-6 loss to Hamilton, before winning seven straight games to earn a spot in the championship game. Even with star quarterback and league MVP Dylan Cudmore having to leave the final game against Hamilton due to injury in the first half, the Crimson Tide battled to the final whistle. "The boys worked hard, dug deep, and found out what it takes to win," said head coach Chris Cudmore. "I have never seen a such a huge transformation in a team, in all my years in sport." An excellent season for the North Halton atom AA Crimson Tide came to a close last weekend with a 31-19 loss to Hamilton in the COMFL's championship game in North York.
