To help bring some joy to what can be a lonely time of year, Home In- stead Senior Care has partnered with local community organiza- tions, volunteers and retailers to ensure that isolated seniors receive gifts and companionship through the Be a Santa to a Se- nior program. From November 14 until December 8, residents can par- ticipate in the Be a Santa to a Se- nior program by picking up an ornament from Home Instead Christmas trees located at Shop- pers Home Health Brampton (1 Kennedy Rd. S.) and Royal LePage (324 Guelph St, George- town). The ornament will include the first name of a senior and their respective gift requests. Lo- cal residents are encouraged to pick up an ornament, purchase the items listed and return them unwrapped to the same location. For more information on the Be a Santa to a Senior program please visit www.beasantatoase- nior.ca or call 905-463-0860.
