Maeve is marvelous in Montreal Eight-year-old Maeve Mc- Closkey and her happy feet are perfectly suited for Irish danc- ing and the Georgetown resi- dent has enjoyed much success in 2013, including a first-place result at the recent Eastern Canadian Oireachtas (Gaelic word for Gathering) in Montre- al in the under-8 category. Following her winning performance in the under-8 age group at the Eastern Canadian Oireachtas Irish dancing competition in Montreal last month, Maeve McCloskey celebrates with her instructors from Georgetown's McGinley Academy (from left) Roisin McGinley, Lily Wilson and Clair McGinley Faloona.
