Description
The new Georgetown Hydro-Electric Commission’s office was opened with a ribbon cut by Lt. Col. A.A. Kennedy, Mayor Jack Armstrong and Commission chairman Graham Farnell. Platform guests were, from the rear: E.W. Binkley, Mrs. W.D. Reid, G.W. McCallum, Rev. Alex Calder, David P. Cliff, W.J. Wylie, D.B. Ireland (representing Adam Smith, Toronto regional manager), Stan Hall, MPP Halton and Stan Allen Georgetown Reeve and County Warden.
