Site preparation, including removal of trees and shrubs, will start on Mon- day (Jan. 7) to make way for Menkes Development Corporation's "The En- claves of Upper Canada." The project is a 184-home development at the northeast corner of Guelph Street and McFarlane Drive in Halton Hills. Halton Hills Council provided draft approval for the project on September 24. The provincially mandated annual vote by school boards for each position was conducted at the start of the most recent Catholic board meeting with a new fi rst- time chair and another trustee becoming vice-chair for a second time. Milton Trustee Diane Rabenda, the incumbent vice- chair of the board, went unchallenged and was ac- claimed chair. Burlington Trustee Arlene Iantomasi is once again vice-chair after being acclaimed.
