Late Sunday afternoon, at the newly renovated Acton Town Hall, the compet- ing pots of chili were warming up, as Ryan Parker from Q-107, Gerry and my- self got ready to judge. Chili is surprising. You'd think that chili is chili- how different can it be? Well, let me tell you, it can be very differ- ent. There were fi ve entries this year, all from local businesses and all fi ve very so unique. Everything from sweet to hot, smooth to chunky. It was a tough choice, but in the end, we decided and were hap- py to award fi rst place to Tanner's Res- taurant in Acton, second place to Angie's Kitchen- a local caterer and thirrd place to Roxy Café in Acton. Congrats to ev- eryone involved, it was a great event and we enjoyed being part of it!
