It was good news. Rowe said he was told that Halton Catholic Dis- trict School Board (HCDSB) personnel are working on a business case to present to the Ministry of Education, which will put the replacement school for Holy Cross at the top of the list for 2015 funding re- quests. HCDSB owns lands at the corner of Berton Blvd. and At- wood Dr. in Georgetown West for the future Holy Cross re- placement school. The school board had been guided by its 2009 Long-Term Capital Plan (LTCP) and while initially Holy Cross was in the running for replacement in the early years, growth in Milton and lack of water for growth in Halton Hills had the board juggling priorities. However, three Halton Hills schools-- St. Jo- seph (in Acton), St. Brigid and St. Catherine (both in Georgetown South)-- received additions.
