In Louisiana: Biting someone with your natural teeth is "simple assault", while biting someone with your false teeth is "aggravated assault" Helpful Hints Even if you don't wear dentures, you may still want to stock up on denture cleaning tablets. You will surely be surprised what else they can clean. Tinnitus is a subjective experience where one hears a sound, ringing or noise when no external physical sound is present. Some call it "head noises", "ear ringing," or other similar things. WHAT CAUSES IT? There are many causes; indeed almost everything that can go wrong with the ear has Tinnitus associated with it as a symptom. Things as simple as wax against the eardrum to very serious items such as tumors on the 7th facial nerve can produce Tinnitus. Meniere's disease has Tinnitus associated with it. One of the most common causes of Tinnitus is exposure to excessively loud sounds such as shooting, chain saw, rock concerts, or other loud noises. Council endorsed the motion put for- ward by Mayor Rick Bonnette at a recent council meeting. It is in response to the recommendation for a merger outlined in the Renewing Ontario's Electricity Distribu- tion Sector: Putting the Customer First panel report. The motion stated that Halton Hills Hydro has effectively served the community for 40 years and contributes both fi nancially to the Town and social well-being of the community. It said the utility had demon- strated effective, innovative and effi cient electricity distribution excellence and has a high cus- tomer satisfaction rating and the benefi ts of a local distribu- tion company would be lost in a forced distribution company serving a million residents. "This is the fi rst shot across the bow if indeed this is going to go any further," said Bonnette. "Hopefully it doesn't." Councillor Joan Robson stressed how important it is for ru- ral residents to have access to a local dis- tribution company. "We can get eas- ily forgotten in the mix if we're gobbled up by a large corporation," said Robson. Along with Premier Kathleen Wynne and the Energy Minister the motion is also being forward- ed to leaders of the opposition parties, Wellington-Halton Hills MPP Ted Arnott and the Ontario Energy Board.
