Habitat for Humanity Halton executive John Gerrard announced at Halton Hills council Monday night that the non-profi t organization is considering the 37 King St. property in Georgetown for future afford- able housing. He suggested the heritage component of the Exchange Hotel could be moved onto a new foundation on the eastern portion of the property, while the rest would be de- molished to make way for affordable hous- ing units.
