This milestone could not have been met without the extraordinary support of the campaign donors to date, and the committed campaign volunteers who continue their fundraising activities. Although there is still a long way to go, the campaign is confident they will reach the campaign objective with continued generous support from the community Construction Update: Mold-Masters SportsPlex - Construction schedule continues to be on track and the site will be very busy in the coming months with the anticipated opening this September. A significant milestone will be achieved on May 2nd when the first of the pad pours is started. With the pouring of Rink D this pad will really begin to take shape as a skating rink. The second pad pour in Rink C will be done in early July. Refrigeration equipment has been installed in the facility. The connection of Rink B to the new facility has started. Currently the north side of Rink B has been opened up to accommodate the significant glazing that will now afford views from the new main lobby into Rink B as well as Rink C and D. The lobby will be poured with its concrete floor next week. Acton Arena and Community Centre - The Arenas Steering Committee has actively begun the planning process for the preparation of construction on the Acton Arena expansion. This additional twinning project is scheduled for completion in September 2015. Ongoing work with regards to site preparation studies are being completed.
