Throughout his school career, Zach has always has been actively involved in extra curriculars, like band and Student Forum. Additionally, Zach participates as a valuable player to the many teams he has played on and also demonstrates lead- ership in the school as a member of the Athletics Council. Jessica Stiles Centennial Jessica, a Grade 8 student, is a true student of excellence. She is extremely respectful, polite, posi- tive and very enthusiastic. She is very outgoing and reliable, and is an absolute delight to teach. She has a true love of learning always goes beyond what is re- quested and expected by her teachers. Jessica is a true motivator dedicated to working with others to help them achieve their best. She's a fabulous role model for her peers and deserved recipient of the Student of Excellence. Meaghan Hector Gardiner Public School Meaghan, a Grade 8 student, is one of the top academic students at GPS because she works hard in her academics by seeking out help, asking questions, and always striv- ing to do her very best. She has also been identifi ed as a leader who en- joys helping others, an athletic powerhouse and a genuine kind friend among her peers. Meaghan is a well-rounded student who also participates in many clubs at GPS. Grace Ayers George Kennedy For some time, Grace, a Grade 5 student, has been an outstanding citizen by taking advantage of lead- ership opportunities inside and out- side of school, such as conducting an informative presentation about International Day of the Girl, participating in a local Guides chapter, and ballet. She possesses an authentic awareness of world issues and consistently tries to gain a deeper un- derstanding of these problems, such as underprivileged chil- dren, child hunger, and equality for women. Alycia Hepburn Glen Williams Alycia, a Grade 5 student, dem- onstrates all the components of our Tribes agreements and treats every- one with respect, care and courtesy. Alycia is one of the top academic students at Glen Williams and she has garnered the respect and admiration of her peers and teachers for her self-initiative, strong work ethic and her ex- ceptional ability to get along with others. Mackenzie Marshall Harrison Mackenzie has a positive attitude and is a good role-model at Harrison. Mackenzie is kind to her family, helpful at home as well as a kind and helpful person at school. She is a responsible member of the school community in Grade 5. She volunteers for a variety of opportunities in her classroom as well as in our primary classrooms and in the offi ce. She has been a member of cross-country, choir and other intramurals. Mackenzie shows perseverance when challenges are presented to her and she is able to set goals and ask for assistance when needed. Parker DiRenzo Holy Cross Parker demonstrates leadership skills as he represents students on the social council.
