While Toronto Premium Outlets un- der construction at Trafalgar Rd. and Steeles Ave. has not yet announced its lineup of stores, several retailers plan- ning to open there are hiring online for staff. Retailers that have post- ed online ads include True Religion Brand Jeans, Cole Haan, Eddie Bauer, Gap Canada, Garage/Dynamite, American Eagle Outfi tters, Fossil, Danier, and Levi's Outlet. An HBC outlet is to anchor the centre, it was reported earlier. An online fashion blog also reports that other retailers who may open in the centre are Bose, Icebreaker, Kate Spade New York, Lucky Jeans and Ted Baker. None of the retailers have been confi rmed by Premium Outlets or the retailers. The centre is to open Thursday, Aug. 1 with 85 stores and according to it's website it will offer "upscale outlet shopping" with "savings of 25 to 65 per cent every day." The centre is hosting a job fair in partnership with Halton Region (Em- ployment Halton), the Town of Halton Hills, and the Region of Peel on June 6 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Milton Sports Centre (605 Santa Maria Blvd.) Representatives from cen- tre merchants and manage- ment will be interviewing for all positions including part- time and full-time retail posi- tions. "Toronto Premium Out- lets is adding a signifi cant number of jobs to our local economy which is good news for Halton Region," said Re- gional Chair Gary Carr. "I encourage anyone looking for a job to attend the job fair to meet face to face with the many employers hiring for the new re- tail complex." Job seekers are encouraged to come dressed for success and bring copies of their résumés and references. For more information dial 311 or visit www.halton.ca/employmenthalton or www.haltonjobs.ca.
