"It went exceedingly well despite the weather, although it didn't rain," said Games past-president Bill Miller. "Tom Reynolds of The Weather Network was the Honorary Chieftain this year, that might be the reason the rain stayed away," said Miller. "He did a really good job." Miller said they had a broad field of competitors-- including 22 heavyweights (four from the U.S.) and 37 pipe bands. Miller said the organizing committee worked hard to make the Games-- the first of the year in Ontario-- a success. "Our sincere thanks to our volunteers who worked hard to assist us in making these Highland Games successful and many thanks again to our sponsors," said Miller.
