Georgetown Seniors Centre makes changes to its schedule as summer approaches By FLORENCE RIEHL Georgetown Seniors Centre The Seniors Centres gets 3-year CARF accreditation There were shouts of joy com- ing from co-ordinator Wendy Krever's offi ce Friday morning when I arrived. She had just re- ceived wonderful news. All the hard work of Wendy, Michelle, Terri, Sherry and Samantha over the past three years paid off and we have received offi cial con- fi rmation that we have a three- year accreditation with CARF. Please watch for all the updates and celebrations posted at both Centres. On Tuesday, June 18 at 1:30 p.m., we will be holding the Birthday Tea when we celebrate birthdays of members that were born in either June or July. If you were born in either of these months you will receive a phone call around June 13 or 14. Just a reminder to the 39 peo- ple going on the trip to Grand River Raceway on Monday, June 17, the bus will pick up at the Centre at 5 p.m. sharp. Just a re- minder, if you intend to play the slots you will need photo ID or your OLG player's card. On Friday, June 21 the soup will be clam chowder plus a va- riety of sandwiches.
