The Picards (Mike and Cheryl and their children Eric and Jack) submit- ted a video entry to the station that featured them performing "Keep on Rockin in the Q World" in an attempt to convince the DJs to come and play with them at their house. It seems their video worked because they were chosen to square off on air Wednesday against another family from Oshawa in a Family Feud compe- tition. As the winners of that competition the Picards will host a live broadcast of Derringer in the Morning Friday from 6-10 a.m. The family has also won a 50" Pana- sonic TV with home theatre system from G & G Electronics, a Marshall amp fridge, a signed Kim Mitchell gui- tar, a Premium Leisure hot tub from Jacuzzi Hot Tubs Ontario, a gourmet breakfast, BBQ and a fridge full of meat from Marc Angelo Foods. As well, anyone in the neighbour- hood who drops by their house at 46 Meadowlark Dr. can enjoy a free morn- ing coffee and donut from Country Style and enter to win the same TV, BBQ and fridge full of meat that the Picards have won. "We're so excited and thankful they picked us," said Mike. "The whole fam- ily is pumped." He added Eric and Jack are going to skip school that morning so they can be there for the broadcast.
