My name is Adam and during the pandemic I found a new hobby that was rewarding for me and for the recipients who recieved it. I learned how to make colourful balloon creations and started to being smiles to people during covid19 by making balloon towers/columns and arches. There were many birthdays in my immediate family and since I am only 13 I did not have much money to buy gifts for everyone but wanted to do something special because we could not get together to celebrate. I reached out to a balloon artist to possibly buy a big balloon but that too was out of my budget. My mom gave me the idea to see if I can twist some balloons that I had left over from my birthday (that was in February) and this is how my new hobby began. My mom loved what I made and said that others in town would love to receive these balloons too so she posted my creation on Facebook and orders started coming in for various colours and various occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and get well wishes. My parents helped me because they went to buy my supplies and delivered my creations all over town. I am very happy that my new hobby has made lots of celebrations more special and brought smiles to many during a challenging time in history.
