35| O akville B eaver | T hursday,M ay 17,2018 insidehalton.com The team from Royal LeP- age Realty Plus recently spent a wonderful day supporting Halton Women's Place. The community, along with generous local business own- ers, councillor Sean O'Meara and Oakville fire fighters came together for a good cause - to raise money towards ending violence against women and violence prevention programs at Halton Women's Place. Despite the chilly tempera- tures, O'Meara along with fire fighters Alex Lowell and Ian VanReenen braved being dunked in icy cold water on this chilly day in an effort to raise additional funds. Royal LePage Realty Plus, which has a motto of "He- ling is what WE do!" hosts this event annually. Join them next year at 2347 Lake- shore Rd. W, Oakville or call 905.825.7777 for more infor- mation.
