Among them was An- drea Javor, consul general for the Consulate General of the Republic of Croatia, who commented on the en- semble's impressive growth since its 2013 incep- tion and commended the initiative to establish a youth choir to ensure that Croatian culture remains strong within the Canadi- an mosaic. Also in attendance were Oakville Mayor Rob Bur- ton and Oakville MPP Kev- in Flynn, who read greet- ings from the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport Daiene Vernile, who was responsible for the On- tario Trillium Grant for the choral society.
