Concert No. 2 on Aug. 5 will show- case Georgetown's own Thomas Do- brovich who placed second at the Canadian Music Competition in Quebec city this past June in the 19 year old and under age cate- gory, and also placed first in the "Symphony on the Bay" Concerto competition. Together with the 'Gre- idonian' Symphony orches- tra, Maestro Dobrovich will enchant you in a deep dark rendition of Rachmaninoff's swirling yet melodic Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor. Works of Chopin and Beethoven will also be played at this concert. The closing concert of the sum- mer series on Aug. 12 will feature an- other local talent who has gone on to do great things. Matthew Pope, currently com- pleting his Masters in Music Perfor- mance at the Western University, will be performing works of Mozart and Faure.
