Halton residents who live with someone who's not that handy at do- it-yourself home renovations are being asked to nominate them for a new real- ity television show. Proper Television, the company be- hind MasterChef Canada and Canada's Worst Driver, is looking for residents to apply for the competition series, featuring beginner home renovation teams eager to gain the knowledge they need to become expert handymen and women. Up for grabs is a chance to be mentored by experts and a cash prize. Producers are calling on Halton residents to nominate themselves, or someone they live with, who's passion- ate and ambitious about do-it-yourself home renovations, but needs a lesson or two on execution. If someone is fed up with the disastrous work that their cohabiter is inflicting on their home, then they can nominate them at bad- handyman.ca. The nominator must be willing to embark on a journey of redemption in cottage country, alongside their disastrous DIYer. Whether it's a hus- band, wife, partner, father, mother, son or daughter -- what matters is that they're both living and suffering in the same space. Halton residents who live with someone who's not that handy at do-it-yourself home renovations are being asked to nominate them for a new reality television show.
