A Shelburne man has been arrested in connec- tion with an aggravated assault Thursday night, June 7, in Oakville. At approximately 8:30 p.m., Halton police re- sponded to residence in the Dorval Road and Mary Street area regarding a man who'd sustained a head injury. An investigation deter- mined that the victim had been struck in the head with a small hatchet. He was transported to Hamil- ton General Hospital where he is currently list- ed in stable condition.
