Submitted photo Sr.Rookies triumphant The Halton Hills senior rook- ie ball Eagles rallied for a 19- 18 victory over Cambridge in the championship game to win the Ontario All-Star Baseball League playoff title hosted by Kitchener-Waterloo to cap off an undefeated weekend. Trailing 18-16 in their last at- bat, Marcus Herback belted a two-run double to tie the score and then was driven in by Na- than Currah's walk-off double for the victory. To reach the final, the Eagles defeated Cambridge 22-9, K-W 16-4 and Brantford 24-4. Consisting of nine-year-olds from the Georgetown and Acton minor baseball associations, the Halton Hills squad also placed second at the four-team Rookie Ball Select Battle Tournament at K-W, dropping a 16-10 decision to Cambridge in the final.
