Throughout the summer, the national pro-life group, the Canadian Centre for Bio- Ethical Reform (CCBR), has been placing leaflets - featur- ing images of what are claimed to be fetuses aborted at various stages of develop- ment - in the mailboxes and on the doorsteps of Oakville households. The group has also set up large displays, featuring the same imagery, near major intersections. Oakville resident Cathy Hama said she recently re- ceived one of these leaflets. "I heard the doorbell ring, and I went to the door and saw that flyer lying on the porch and looked at it and thought it was pretty dis- gusting," she said. "If they want to educate kids, they should promote the full curriculum on sex education instead of wasting their time putting up a dis- gusting pamphlet. Do some- thing positive."
