Trooper will now play on Friday, Sept. 7, at 9:30 p.m. and Kim Mitchell will still play on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 9:30 p.m. Trooper, billed as Cana- da's greatest party band, will perform many of their big hits from a career span- ning more than 40 years. Organizers have also an- nounced the complete Fri- day night lineup. Canadian blues-rock guitarist, singer and song- writer Bill Durst is on the stage at 8 p.m. Friday, per- forming songs from the 125 he has written, including seven national charting hits. At 7 p.m. Friday, Vanes- sa Marie Carter - a singer- songwriter who is making her mark on the country scene - will perform. Opening the night will be Mindful Audacity at 6 p.m. The jazz fusion band out of Toronto has roots in gospel, jazz and R&B. Last year's debut EP was an in- stant hit for the group. Kerrfest is an outdoor music festival that takes place the weekend after La- bour Day. The fifth annual festival is presented by the Kerr Village BIA, the Town of Oakville and is funded by the Ontario govern- ment.
