Oakville's 38th annual Terry Fox Run will be held at CoronationFox Run will be held at CoronationF Park on Sunday, Sept. 16. Partici- pants can walk, bike, board, blade run, push a stroller, or even walk a leashed dog along the lakeside routes of 2-, 5- or 10-kilometre lengths. Car-pooling is encouraged as there is no parking at Coronation Park. Organizers are asking par- ticipants and spectators to only park on side streets where it's per- mitted. Registration begins at 9 a.m.Registration begins at 9 a.m.R with the official start time being 10 a.m. Opening ceremonies will be hosted by former Toronto Argos star Dan Ferrone. The Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance stu- dents at Sheridan College will per- form O Canada.form O Canada.f The non-competitive run has no registration fee and no mini- mum donation is required. Terry Fox Run t-shirts will be for sale on site with all proceeds go-for sale on site with all proceeds go-f ing to the Terry Fox Foundation. Sales and donations to the Run can be made by cash or credit card on race day. Bronte Harbour Chiropractic Clinic will be treating participants post walk/run while Longo's pro- vides fresh fruit throughout the event.
