Tim Caddigan officially began his term as chair of the board of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce on Sept. 11, after being sworn in by Oakville Mayor Rob Burton at the chamber's annual general meeting. Caddigan has been a member of the board of di- rectors since 2012, also serving as vice-chair on the chamber's executive com- mittee since 2016. A senior director of pro- gramming and community relations at Cogeco, Caddi- gan leads a team that pro- vides television program- ming and public relations activities in various mar- kets throughout Ontario. His role includes federal regulatory adherence and human resources over- sight for approximately 100 employees. Cogeco Connexion is the second-largest cable opera- tor in Ontario and Québec, in terms of the number of basic cable service custom- ers served. Caddigan is a graduate of Queen's University School of Business, is a strong supporter of local communities and has vol- unteered his time with var- ious groups and organiza- tions. "Tim brings a wealth of business experience and knowledge to his new role that will contribute to the ongoing success of the Oak- ville chamber," immediate past chair Ken Nevar said.
