“Mom, look at the sky! It's perfect for a picnic!” I shouted excitedly. My mom replied after a second of thought: “coronavirus has started spreading crazily since a week ago, we are gonna stay home and practice social distance.” The pandemic has been lasting for 5 months and has changed a lot of things in our lives. Me and my little sister used to be feeling so down for being stuck at home, we barely found fun stuff to do.
But after a while, I found out the fact that staying at home is not as bad as i thought. As we are having online classes on my own schedule and interest, one super nice thing about that is that I've got more time with my family members, the most interesting thing we have done together is we discovered a new fun product we have never tried before - Nintendo Switch.
We downloaded a game called Just Dance, as you are holding the controllers, the software will figure out your dance moves, and if you do the same moves as the moves it shows, you get a high score! I did not even dance much before, but now I have danced to more than 100 songs! And my score is soooo close to the No.1 score in the world of one of those songs. From a 4 years old kid who can not even run property because of staying home for too long, to the amazing dancer (my sis) who can easily score to four stars (sometimes even 5).
We used to be super excited and wanted to go out and play like everyday and every second. But not anymore! We found so much fun in this game, and it's literally a perfect way of enjoying family time and relaxing from work, and exercise without going out!
Little as you know, the quarantine is not even that bad, and this is our little story of a fun family time!
