"A story, Oakville Resettlement Fund assists Syrian refugees, in the Thursday, April 7, 2016 Oakville Beaver incorrectly reported the number of refugees in Oakville. Currently 10 refugee families, about 52 individuals, are living in Oakville, with some arriving a few months ago. In Halton, there are approximately 250 people and 50 families. The Resettlement Fund Advisory Task Force will review applications this month and funding for eligible charities will be announced in June. The Oakville Beaver regrets the error and any inconvenience it may have caused."
