Initial reports suggest the man suffered a medi- cal episode, which caused him to drive his pick-up truck into a tree on Upper Middle Road, east of Dor- val Drive. Emergency crews were called to the scene shortly before 5 a.m. The man - the lone oc- cupant of the vehicle - was taken to Oakville Trafal- gar Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
