The would-be intruder set off an alarm when they entered, and appears to have fled the area empty- handed. A second break-in was reported on March 7 at a dwelling on Winston Churchill Boulevard, near Lakeshore Road East. Officers believe the suspect entered the resi- dence through an un- locked sliding patio door at the rear of the home. The thief stole around $75 in cash.
