Bronte Horticultural Society: Through the Years
Summary
Bronte Horticultural Society
Bronte Horticultural Society Details
As a not-for-profit organization, Bronte Horticultural Society remains dedicated to the beautification of our community, with a current emphasis on the preservation of our environment. Our goal is to share horticultural information and expertise with our members and encourage awareness in the general public.

In 2015, over 3300 hours of volunteer time was dedicated to community outreach and Society initiatives, including celebratory events marking our 90th Anniversary. This number signifies an increase of over 85% and an average of 31 volunteer hours per member! Society members participate in co-operative projects with the Town of Oakville, Conservation Halton, and the Oakville Horticultural Society.

Members benefit from stimulating speakers, quality articles contained in our monthly newsletter, and interesting social events. To learn more about the Society, visit GardenOntario.org, sponsored by the Ontario Horticultural Association. Or as a guest, attend one of our monthly General Meetings.

Don’t be scared off by the long word “Horticultural Society”. I suspect it’s just a cool word for Gardener’s Club.
