At around 3:30 a.m., two individuals approached a residence on Tudor Ave- nue, near Dorval Drive, and removed jewelry and cash valued at $3,850 from an unlocked vehicle there, police said. A few days later, April 28, at 12:30 a.m., the home- owner of the same resi- dence heard someone at- tempting to open their front door. The resident went to their front door but found no one there. Video surveillance from the area showed two sus- pects on the property at that time. They were unable to en- ter the residence and on this occasion nothing was taken. The individuals could only be described as wear- ing dark clothing. Police have not con- firmed if both incidents in- volved the same suspects. Police are also looking for the person responsible for breaking into a home on Glenashton Drive on Mon- day, April 29. At around 12:45 p.m., someone approached the residence, which is located near Iroquois Ridge High School, and forced open the front door, police said. The suspect was quickly confronted by the home- owner and fled the dwell- ing empty-handed. Police arrived soon after and attempted to track the would-be thief with a K9 unit, but were not success- ful. No description of the suspect is available.
