Its purpose is to address business and community concerns about the supply and availability of parking in the area. During the pilot, paid parking will be available at spaces alongside Bronte storefronts on main and secondary streets, as well as at the town-owned spaces at Bronte Village Mall. Parking will be controlled with meters, monthly permits and the Honk mobile payment app. Why a paid parking pilot? Charging for parking in commercial shopping areas is a common way to promote turnover and availability for customers, visitors and residents. Parking rates, fees, durations and hours of operation in Bronte Village will be consistent with those in other commercial districts within Oakville. Join us to learn more We invite you to drop by our open house information session to learn more about this pilot project.
