It was part of Arbor Week celebrations as eight large trees were planted. The town's forestry section will plant 24,900 trees and 5,400 shrubs in woodlands and approximately 4,700 trees on the road allowance and parks to help increase the town's overall tree canopy after the devastating loss of trees due to the invasive Emerald Ash Borer.
