Camps Oakville, the latest ad- dition to the town's roster of on- line services, is intended to let caregivers conveniently search town-offered summer camps on- line by location, week, camp type and more, at camps.oakville.ca. "Oakville council is commit- ted to providing high-quality community centres, sports facil- ities and parks so that families have the widest variety possible of summer programs and camps to choose from," said Oakville Mayor Rob Burton. "This online tool makes it easy to sort and select the camp and lo- cation that best suits the needs of your family, and ensure a positive summer camp experience." Tailored to kids of all abilities, aged four to 13, the town camps include both traditional and spe- cialized, including arts, adven- ture, sports, science, before and after care, and more. For teens, the town also offers a number of resumé-boosting leadership programs. Town staff said Camps Oak- ville is mobile-friendly and acces- sible on all devices. Users can visit camps.oakvil- le.ca, then bookmark or add it to their home screen for easy ac- cess. Camps Oakville is just one of several online tools the town of- fers. Other services include rec- reation and culture program reg- istration, Active Oakville drop-in program finder, facility availabil- ity, temporary on-street parking permits, problem-reporting and more.
