Pre-deceased by his wife Betty, parents David and Annie, brother David and sister Helen. Much loved father of Siobhan (Bill Parker) and grandfather of Katie and Graeme. Brother-in-law to Betsey, Ros, Dorothy and Ted and many nieces and nephews. Born in Leeds, England, on January 28, 1931, Iain's character was greatly influenced during his school years aboard the HMS Conway, a naval training academy. Upon graduation he joined the British Merchant Navy and the Blue Funnel Line, sailing the world over the following six years. In 1953, Iain emigrated to Canada, eventually settling in Hamilton and a 30-year career in Purchasing at Westinghouse. He met and married Betty in 1961 and the two spent 57 happy years together in Burlington and Brighton until Betty's death in 2018. Among many other pleasures, Iain particularly enjoyed a "Full English", clean windows and the company of dogs. We will miss you. LUBERTINO, Vincenzo With inconsolable sadness, following the passing of his beloved wife Ann (October 2018) Vince was unexpectedly taken from us on May 9, 2019. Born on August 22, 1951 to the late Giuseppe and Auristela in Piedimonte Matese, Italy. Vince came to Canada in 1954, growing up in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. After attaining his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, Vince wed the love of his life Ann, in 1979. Joseph was born shortly after and in 1987 the family was complete with the addition of Derek. After successfully completing his CMA/CPA, Vince's entrepreneurial spirit and passion for industry led to his involvement in the creation of Lakeport Breweries. A true leader, later in his career Vince founded Abundant Life Wealth Management, an industry leading firm where he cherished working alongside his greatest accomplishments, his sons Joseph (Brandy) and Derek (Carissa). An avid art collector and painter, Vince pursued his greatest passion through SPI Inc by rebuilding and racing custom and classic muscle cars. Vince will be remembered always by his sister Enza (Mario Fasulo), brother Frank (Ildi), nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law in the Fasulo, Milano, Hamilton and Lubertino families. Larger than life, to know Vince meant knowing the true meaning of family, generosity, compassion and living la bella vita. A beloved father first, role model, and mentor to many. He will be forever missed, always in our hearts and never forgotten. Her life changed dramatically with the onset of World War II. Despite significant difficulty and loss, the War was also a pivotal time for a pretty, sociable young woman. She met Guy Brunelle, an officer and a paratrooper, at a dance on the Salisbury Plain. They married in June 1945 and a year later she immigrated to Canada with their first born, Jackie. Montreal became home to their growing family. In 1978 Sheelagh and Guy moved to Oakville where they enjoyed their walks by the lake, their garden and their many friends. Most of their travels were to visit their daughters and grandchildren in Halifax and Boston. Sheelagh was predeceased by her husband Guy (2004) as well as her sister Maureen and her brother Alan. She leaves her daughters, Jackie (Mark Curley) of Rockport, Mass., Nancy of Oakville and Margot (Karl Falkenham) of Halifax. Sheelagh will be dearly missed by her six grandchildren; Christopher (Verli), Patrick (Erin), Alexandra (Mark), Davis, Alec (Kerry) and Tommy, and her great-grandchildren Ella, Tessa, Skye, Lylah, Alan and Hannah. We are so grateful to the staff at the Revera -The Kensington and Sunrise of Oakville where she spent her last years. We would also like to thank her special caregivers, Kristine and Renatta. Our dear old Mum and devoted Nana waited 96 years and 10 months for a birthday greeting from the Queen. She didn't make it to her centenary as planned, but she put in a grand effort.
