This group is al- leged to have participated in a residential break-in and shoplifting crime spree across the GTA. The investigation be- gan in early May, when Montreal police alerted Halton regional police to several individuals who were committing residen- tial break-ins in the GTA. Police allege the group had committed break-ins in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Georgetown, and Pickering between May 5 and May 15. On May 14, 2019, at 8:30 p.m., Halton police saw a group of people attend the Toronto Premium Outlet Mall, where they went in- to a Tommy Hilfiger store. In 15 minutes, they exited the store with several re- usable shopping bags and fled the scene. fled the scene. f Police later learned that the group had alleg- edly stolen more than $1,300 worth of merchan- dise from the store.
