Halton Environmental Network and Halton Green Screens, in partnership with Film.ca, are welcoming back the sec- ond Halton Green Screens' Amateur Film Festival. The festival is aimed at getting the community involved in environmental stewardship through film. This festival has inspired the community to take ac- tion for the environment by creating films on topics from waste management, to gar- bage clean-ups on the shores of Lake On- tario, to the environmental benefits of cy- cling. Film submissions cover a wide range of issues: climate change, waste, energy, habitat conservation, nature apprecia- tion, water, activism and social justice.
