Care about /newsletters The library is expand- ing its reach to better serve residents in northwest Oakville with a new and convenient pickup and re- turn location, called Ex- press @ St. Luke's CC. Designed with busy cus- tomers in mind, OPL Ex- press locations make it easy to pick up holds and return library items at sev- eral high-traffic communi- ty buildings throughout Oakville. When placing a hold on a library item on opl.ca, customers simply select their express loca- tion of choice as the pickup location. Customers can al- so return select library items at these locations. OPL Express locations are not staffed and were for- merly called Holds Lock- ers. The library's newest ex- press is located inside St. Luke's Community Centre at 3114 Dundas St. W in Pa- lermo, offering residents in northwest Oakville a local and convenient spot to ac- cess library resources. In addition to Express @ St. Luke's CC, the library of- fers two other express loca- tions: one at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex and one at Queen Elizabeth Park Community & Cultural Centre. "We want to bring li- brary services out into the community as much as possible," said Jeff Knoll, chair of the library's board of directors. "OPL Express is so seamless to use - you can drop off your items or pick up your holds while you're watching your daughter's hockey game at Sixteen Mile Sports Com- plex, or before your work- out at QEPCCC." Express @ St. Luke's CC is open to the public Mon- day to Friday from 9 a.m.- 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday from 9:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. For more information about OPL Express, or the library's other programs, services and collections, visit opl.ca or follow the li- brary on social media @oakvillelibrary This biweekly column is provided by the Oakville Public Library.
