Please visit showroom for details OAKVILLE - A pair ofOAKVILLE - A pair ofO Hamilton teens, who were arrested on various theft and fraud-related charges in Milton and Georgetown, are now facing a series of charges in connection with crimes committed in Oak- ville. During April and May 2019, police said, several un- locked vehicles were en- tered in Oakville. On one occasion, the suspects located the keys to an Acura TL and stole the vehicle. Police allege that this ve- hicle was used while addi- tional thefts from vehicles were committed and fraud- ulent purchases were made with stolen credit/debit cards. On June 10, just after 2:30 a.m., Halton police were called to the area of Bell Street and Vanier Drive in Milton after receiving re- ports of two teens who were looking into vehicles. When police arrived, the suspects attempted to flee on foot - and a brief foot chase ensued. One teen was quickly captured, while the other was found by a canine unit in a wooded area shortly thereafter. An investigation result- ed in the youths facing mul- tiple theft and fraud-related charges in connection with various thefts from vehi- cles and purchases made with stolen credit cards in Milton and Georgetown. They now face even more charges in connection with similar incidents, which occurred in Oak- ville. Mathew Oliveira, 19, and Matthew Chupil, 19, both from Hamilton, have eachfrom Hamilton, have eachf been charged with 18 counts of theft under $5,000, nine counts of possession/ use of a stolen credit card and possession of property obtained by crime. Oliveira has also been charged with the theft of a motor vehicle.
