The 11th annual Ride for Sick Kids drew roughly 500 motorcy- clists for a trip from Oakville to Acton on Aug. 11. Since its begin- ning, the event has raised close to $500,000 for SickKids Hospital. Chairperson Nella Figliano said her goal is to raise $1 million. "It's a sea of motorcycles," said Figliano. "When everyone starts their engines the ground shakes. It's roaring. It's just amazing. It's a parade of bikes - beautiful."
